It was great to meet all of you! Many of you asked about classes. I host classes at my home about once a month. If you are interested in coming to one, please drop me a line by email or by leaving a comment here. I want to cater to your needs, so let me know what type of class interests you. If you are a beginner or a "seasoned" stamper, I can do either or anything in between.
To have a class that is cost efficient for both you and I, I really need a minimum of four people. Otherwise, I have to charge more to make up for the costs. So, if you have friends that you think would be interested, direct them to my websites and have them drop me a line, too.
One benefit of hosting parties/workshops/classes is that you earn hostess benefits on the orders placed at the event. A stamp club is a great way to earn these benefits. Here's a description of how they work:
A Stamp Club is a great way to spend an evening away from home, with friends, and make a few projects that you can take back home. You also will learn new techniques and (hopefully) discover a new hobby! This is how they work:
- Based on the number of people in a stamp club (I would limit it to 8 per club, not including me), there would be a minimum purchase each month, for each person, so that our order totaled $150 (before taxes and shipping).
- We would meet for six months, once a month.
- Each person would take turns playing “hostess”. However, each meeting would be held at my house.
- A hostess would be asked to bring snacks for everyone. I would provide drinks.
- We would make 2-3 projects per meeting, based on the level of difficulty and time. They would all be pretty simple.
- When it’s your month to be “hostess”, you automatically earn a free stamp set and $15 in additional free merchandise of your choice.
- When you are “hostess”, you can invite as many friends as you like (in addition to the current members of the club). Based on the total sales, you could earn more than what was mentioned above!
- There would be no additional fee for the projects we make.
So, for example: if we had 6 people (not including me), each person would commit to buying $25 per month. At the end of six months, you will have hosted once, have a bunch of brand new supplies, made at least 12 cards, etc. and will have earned at least one free stamp set and at least $15 in free merchandise. Also, as a hostess, you can decide what techniques we would learn and use for your month. If you want to make a scrapbook page, we’ll make a scrapbook page. If you want to make a wedding card, learn to dry emboss, learn how to use shaving cream on your projects (really!), etc., it’s all up to you.
I would love to get your feedback!
