3rd Annual Margarita Party- two different dates!

 

I just spent about 2 hours repricing all my retired stamp sets. I think there is only one that is more than $10, and I feel safe in saying 95% are less than $10! I'm ready to clean house!

This year, I'm offering two different dates to take advantage of my BOGO sale. You can come Tuesday, June 5th anytime between 5-10 pm, or you can come on Wednesday from 10-3. Or both!

I will post a list of all my retired stamp sets on 6/1. This will give you a chance to see what I have available and can plan your purchases accordingly. After Wednesday, you can email me to inquire about purchasing anything that is left over, and you can still earn free items through Wednesday night.

Here's how the BOGO will work:

You buy the stamp set "You're Amazing" from the 2012-2013 catalog in clear mount. The price is $22.95. Anything in my retired stash that was originally valued at $22.95 or less can be yours FREE! Each stamp set also has a current purchase price on them- a price you would pay to buy it from me, without earning it for free. "God is Love", a stamp set that retired a few years back, is in my stash and was originally valued at $22.95, so you could get it for free for buying "You're Amazing" or anything other stamp set that is valued at $22.95 or more. You could also buy "God is Love"  outright for $8. I hope that makes sense!!

I would like to get an idea for how many will be here, but an RSVP is not necessary. Bring your friends! If they place an order, you'll get a $5 merchandise credit!

Margaritas, Stamps, & Cupcakes! OH MY!

OK, those are seriously three of my all-time favorite things!

It's my annual Madness party- this time with a new title. I thought I should officially add cupcakes and stamps to the title. :)

Come and see new goodies, create a quick make & take, and enjoy yummy margaritas and cupcakes. You'll also be able to purchase my retired stamps and accessories in a really fun way.

This will work the same as last year. Each stamp set will have two stickers on them. The yellow indicates the price of the set it sold for in past catalogs. The white sticker has the price you can purchase them from me. The yellow sticker really is the cheaper way, though. Here's where it gets fun!

Let's say a set has a yellow sticker for $23.95 and a white sticker for $12. If you buy a stamp set in the new catalog valued at $23.95 or more- you can have that retired set for FREE! If you end up wanting a lot of retired sets and don't buy as many qualifying new stamp sets, you can buy the set outright for the price on the white sticker.

I will also have my retired cardstock, ink, patterned paper, ribbons, buttons, brads, dies, etc. for sale.

To top it all off- Give Aways! For every $100 you spend, you get an entry to win a HUGE basket of SU! goodies- some of it brand new in this catalog!

To make it fair to everyone that plans to come to the party, my retired merchandise will be "unveiled" at 7:00 pm. My suggestion is that you come with your wish list ready, find what you like in the retired merchandise, grab it and determine how much of it (retired) you can get for free!

Workshop Book-a-Thon!!

SU! has encouraged all their demos to get out there and book workshops! What's a workshop? A FREE party, hosted by you, planned by me, that shows you and your guests a bit about stamping and SU!. All you have to do is invite everyone you can think of, clean your house, prepare a few snacks, and I come over and do the rest! It's a great way to spend some time with friends, sharing your hobby with them. Oh, and you can earn major free stuff based on the sales at your workshop! And you know me, I am not pushy. My goal is for everyone to have fun!

Another option is to have the party at my house. Again, you invite everyone you know and provide snacks, but you can use my home as our meeting place!

Expect phone calls and emails on October 12th from me asking to host a workshop. Here's a bonus for you: If you beat me to it, by email or phone, and give me the secret code: BLING, you will get a free package of rhinestones or pearls, my favorite new thing from the catalog, when you host your party!

People are always worried they won't have a good turn-out or they don't want their friends to feel pressued into buying stuff. I promise you that even if you have 2 people show up, it will be fun! And again, I will not be pushy with the sales pitch- I simply want to spread the SU! love!

Come Celebrate World Card Making Day!

The first Saturday in October is World Card Making Day. In honor of this "holiday" that speaks to a very big part of myself, I will hold two events (simultaneously)  the Friday night before- October 1st:

Stamp-a-Stack

Friday, October 1^st 6pm-??

Each card is $1- make as many as you want of each one

Stock up on cards for a variety of occasions: birthdays, thank you, get well, etc.

Choices must be made and emailed to me by 9/20

Sentiments on cards will be changeable

Please bring paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive (glue stick, tape runner) and Dimensionals

Minimum class fee is $10

Every friend that you bring (not already on my mailing list) that makes a $25 or more purchase= $10 credit for you! Every $10 Credit must be used on a $30 or more order. (Example: if you have $30 in total credits, your order must be $90 or more) (Sorry, I cap the credits at $50 per person!)

New Stampers Workshop

This workshop has been in the works for some time. So many of you have told me you have friends/co-workers, etc. that have expressed interest in stamping, but are brand new and don't know where to start. Sometimes my classes may not be the best event for them to attend.

This workshop will focus on the basics of stamping and Stampin' Up!. I will give brief descriptions and explanations for our basic products and the basics of stamping. I will have LOTS of products on hand so they can be seen in person, and two hands-on projects/make & takes (one pictured here!).

Everyone is invited- even the most seasoned stampers! You may learn something new! :) Also, there is a real bonus for you to invite people. For every person that you invite that comes and buys, you will get a $10 credit towards a $30 or more order. Example: if Suzy Stamper invites 3 people and they all place an order, she gets $30 in credit! Now, for every $10 Suzy earns, she has to spend $30 to cash it in. So, for her to use all $30 at once, she would have to place a $90 or more order (which we all know is SO easy). Sorry, but I have to max every Suzy out at $50. :) All these numbers are pre tax and shipping, of course.

If you are someone that is already on my email list, but haven't attended any of my events/classes or placed an order in 2010, you will get a $5 credit towards any $20 or more order-just for coming to the FREE workshop! This bonus program also works for people who attend the workshop that are brand-new but weren't referred from anyone.

I love when a new catalog comes out. It is so refreshing to look at beautiful things our eyes have never seen.

All the new catalogs can be downloaded- see the column on the right hand side. The 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog (IBC) is a HUGE file- so give it time. If you haven't ordered a hard copy yet, just send me an email and I'll hold one for you!

Don't forget about the PARTY NEXT TUESDAY 7/6! My new goodies will arrive just in time for you to ooh and ahh over them! And I have bags ready for the retired items you can buy (or earn for free!!!) and take home THAT NIGHT! Please RSVP!

Summer Mini Kick-Off Update!

Since an "Open House" party is different than a typical class, I decided to change things up a bit and open the doors earlier- starting at 4 pm.

You can stop by anytime starting then and stay for as long or as short as you want. There will be a simple make & take, some snacks, and my kitchen table will be full of some of the new goodies from the Summer Mini so you can see them in person.
