SU! had a Leadership Conference last week and a couple of exciting new changes were announced. A couple were about upcoming NEW products that I know you guys will love. Of course!
But the major announcement was about a change in the catalog system. Currently, the main catalog, known as the Idea Book & Catalog (IBC), comes out annually every July 1st. We have 3 minis: the Holiday mini runs September-December, the Occasions mini runs January-April, and the Summer mini May-August.
Here's the changes in a nutshell:
- The IBC will now run June 1st- May 31st and will be called the Annual Catalog. It will be slightly smaller (about 32 pages), and printed on lighter-weight paper. This will drastically reduce the cost, which I can pass on to you guys! Also, I will be able to mail the catalogs directly to those of you from out of town so that you get them the same time my local girls do!
- There will be NO SUMMER MINI. This sounds drastic, but it's really a good thing, in my opinion. The Summer Mini always overlapped with the new IBC and kind of got lost in the shuffle.
- The mini catalogs will be replaced by two Seasonal Catalogs: The Holiday Catalog and the Spring Catalog. The Holiday Catalog will run August 1st thru early January, and the Spring Catalog early January through May 31.
- The Seasonal Catalogs will be bigger! They will be larger in size (8 1/2 x 11!!) and page count!
- The Simply Adorned and Decor Elements lines are being discontinued. I love the Decor Elements and would suggest that you look at these products and order what you love now. :)
