Staring tomorrow, Monday the 21st, SU! will have their annual Online Extravaganza Sale! I encourage you to look at my Online Store on Monday, November 21, to take advantage of great savings, like FREE digital downloads valued at $40 when you buy My Digital Studio Express, 60 percent off select Designer Fabrics, and 30 percent off an exclusive ribbon bundle!
In addition, there will be two items on sale for 24 hours only (November 21, 12:01 AM - 11:59 PM). Because of this, I will be placing an order tomorrow night, the 21st, at 11pm. If there is anything you want from this sale or any products at all, please call/email, or stop by before then. I can place an order any other time as well, but since two of the sale items will only be on sale tomorrow, I would suggest you purchase then. The other sale items will last throught the 30th.
Now, on to a card. As many of you know, my oldest son, Jacob, plays flag football. Well, this year we went all the way to the championship game. We were really favored to win, but we lost a very close game. The boys were all VERY upset, some almost inconsolable. Jacob was crying very hard and it was so hard to watch. Their coach is a father to one of Jacob's school friends, and he has been an awesome coach. All the parents chipped in for a gift and I wanted to make him a card that incorporated football, their colors (blue and silver), and a star since they were the Cowboys.
I got this alphabet stamp set, Letter It, on my very first order from the new catalog back in July. I LOVE it. They were really easy to cut out. For the little notches on the sides, I used a 1/4" circle punch to make it easier. I didn't have the football stamp set, so I used MDS to print the footballs. It was much easier to line them up that if it had been an actual stamp! :) It has become my favorite card because it is SO hard to make masculine cards for me.
