I guess we can officially say goodbye to summer... according to SU! anyway. The Summer mini ended last night which is a sad thing, but also a reason to rejoice because it means the Holiday mini is now LIVE.
This year's is fantastic, like every year. We have an ahhhh-mazing new scoring board, SImply Scored. I have used the others on the market and this is, as a Canadian demo Jackie Topa said, the Mercedes Benz of scoring boards. It has DEEP grooves every 1/8". It has a a zero center ruler. It has little place markers to add to score lines making multiple projects a breeze. I leave two of mine on 4 1/4" and 5 1/2", the two most common score marks for card bases. And the metal stylus, combined with the DEEP grooves, make score lines on our thick cardstock smooth as butter. It is seriously awesome. Here's a card I made last night. I got the idea for the score lines on the bottom from fab-oosh demo Heather Klump. This card was a piece of cake and the scored paper adds so much!
Another super fun product is the Dazzling Details on page 41. I added some of it to the butterfly.
While you are on page 41, you have to look at the new silver Glimmer paper. Oh my word. It is like diamonds. So unbelievable in person.
Peek-a-Boo Frames die on page 36? Insanely cute and so many possibilities. Check out the impressive Advent calendar they made.
I have an upcoming class using the Card Keeper on page 35. They will make a great gift.
I'm a sucker for stamp sets with matching punches. The stockings on page 34 are one of my favorites. I have several cards upcoming in my Christmas Cards Class series using them. One of them has hanging mini Jingle Bells (page 30) that I love, love, love.
OK, I'm going to stop there 'cause y'all know I could go on and on and about every single item in the Holiday mini.
I will be placing an order on Tuesday night if you want to get a jump start on your holiday projects! :)
